V1 Gen2 Can’t Save You If It’s In Your Other Car

I had been traveling between Texarkana and Houston, a trip of 300 miles, for 30 months for treatment at MD Anderson; it was successful, thank goodness.

There are many small towns along the route where the speed limit drops from the usual 75 mph to as low as 30 before it picks up again.  I think I do a good job of obeying those reductions in speed, but on two occasions I was slow to react and got pulled over.  After showing the obligatory license and proof of insurance, I was asked where I was going.  When I said I was going to MD Anderson for treatment, I was told to just slow down and have a good day.  I guess they correctly figured that I didn’t need more trouble.

Figuring out the same thing myself, I thought, why should my V1 Gen2 be reserved for my 911 if I’m doing these trips in my family hauler?

Voila!  No more close encounters.
