A Few Things To Remember
- Valentine One is defined as a radio by the FCC. It receives only.
It's a passive device that in no way interferes with the communications or
business of others.
- The Federal Communication Act of 1934 guarantees the right to receive
radio transmissions of all types on all frequencies. Traffic radar is not
privileged communication: in fact, it's not communication of any sort
because no information is conveyed to another party. It is surveillance by
radio waves, and that is not protected by any laws.
- Some states and municipalities have laws prohibiting the use, or the
possession, or both, of radar detectors. Please check local regulations
before using your Valentine One.
- Leaving your Valentine One in plain sight in an unattended car is asking
for a break-in.
We appreciate your confidence in Valentine Research. Please drive safely.
